Default setup:
For marketplaces, by default, the sellers need to confirm the order after they have received an order.
- What you can do is have two different emails
- Act as a seller using one email and post a product listing
- Act as a buyer using one email and make a purchase in that listing
- Go to order details page to see the status of each person. And change the order status to see how this flow works

Both Seller Account and Customer can cancel orders at different stages. The best way to understand is testing with two different emails, so you have complete knowledge on this to explain to your customer care team.
