How to Set Up a Custom Link in the Header with a Blog and a Page

To create a custom link in your website’s header that directs users to a specific blog or page, follow these steps:

  1. Access Your Website Editor: Log in to your website editor or content management system.
  2. Locate the Header Section: Navigate to the section of your editor where you can manage your website’s header.
  3. Add a New Menu Item: Click on “Add Block” and search for the custom menu block. This is where you’ll create the custom link.
  4. Name Your Link: In the menu item settings, provide a name for your custom link. This name will appear as the clickable text in the header.
  5. Specify the URL: Within the URL field, input the web address (URL) of the blog or page you want to link to.
  6. Save Your Changes: Remember to save your adjustments. Once saved, the custom link should now be visible in your website’s header. But by default, it will be saved in draft mode, and if the changes are correct, you can publish to the production and live websites.

If you require more detailed instructions, there is a video tutorial at the bottom that demonstrates the entire process. Watching the video should provide you with a visual step-by-step guide.

This is really a great feature. Is this available for all users?

I’ve set up a platform without applying a template but this isn’t an option that appears in my editor so wondered if its only if a template has been applied or for certain users? I also noticed recently that the ability to edit footer links and text has disappeared in my editor.

Hi
It’s available when you choose templates which are using editor v2.

We understand there is no way you can check which is using latest editor from template gallery. Kindly use product marketplace template or other new templates.

If you want to not touch your main website , you can create a another site under the workspace and test all this

We are bringing copy function by tomorrow. Then you can simply copy one site to another
