Login issue in Tradly - editor

Hello @jkbaseer

While using the tradly editor, I am unable to login to the website. This is a major hinderance in the editing process.

Please help!

Please look into this on priority, it is obstructing workflow and delaying project timelines.

Hi,

Currently, when using the editor, you can’t log in to the website from the preview panel, as the login option is not available there.

However, just for your information that most of our pages are open, meaning that you can set up and test that feature in the preview panel without needing to log in.
Could you please let us know which page you’re trying to develop that is causing an issue because you can’t log in? This way, we can suggest the best process for developing that page, which should be helpful to you as well.

Thank you.

Hello @AhsaUllah,

I’ll attempt to illustrate the elements/sections of the page that I am unable to edit :-1:

The image below, showcases how my header would appear in a pre-login state or how it would appear to a guest user that hasn’t signed up/signed in.

Now, the image that follows showcases how my header appears to a logged in user.

As you can see, the post-login header has additional blocks/buttons and enhanced functionality; moreover it also contains the profile menu.(Image attached below)

Now, Since I am unable to login via the preview pane provided in Tradly Editor; I am unable to see the changes made to the post-login header in real time which is hindering the post login UI/UX design process.

I hope that I have been able to describe my issue in detail. I look forward to hearing from you.

Regards,
Shaahn

Hello @AhsaUllah @jkbaseer

Please advise

Hello @jkbaseer @AhsaUllah

Please look into it

Hi,

Today, I investigated your tenant website in detail, focusing on the editor level. First of all, let me clarify two points:

  1. From the preview panel, you currently can’t log in and see the post-login content.
  2. There are a few blocks (very few) that work after login, and the profile menu is one of them.

For these types of blocks, you need to check the post-login content by logging in from another tab. Just for your information, we are also working to improve this experience.

Now, regarding your menu bar issue:

If you look at any of our demo websites, you’ll see that the menu bar looks like this:

This is the default behavior.

However, when I checked your screenshot, I noticed a misalignment in the dropdown. I investigated further in your editor and found that you have an issue with the tab size:

The double header is causing the issue on the web. I am currently fixing it by hiding the top header on the tab view:

Additionally, following certain steps can help prevent similar issues. The menubar issue is now resolved, and it looks like the default behavior.

Thank you .
