some stores that are on the app are not showing up in the ‘View All’ stores section, and therefore cannot be located as there is no search function for stores other than manually searching the ‘View All’ section

Just make sure you are following the store already.
The home page widget “Stores to follow” works in a way that it shows the stores which you are not following.
When you followed any store before, it won’t show up again here. The purpose of the widget is to increase the number of followers for the stores, so the customers start to get updates of new items posted by the store owner.
